Felice Laverne

If there’s anyone who lives and breathes the publishing world, it’s me. I’m a New York Times and USA Today bestselling ghostwriter and co-author, a seasoned book editor, proposal writer, author coach, and former literary agent, bringing a deeply rooted career in publishing to every project I touch. I hold a BA in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from Georgia State University and an MA in Publishing from Kingston University in London.

As a ghostwriter, book doctor, and literary consultant, I’ve helped high-profile celebrities, thought leaders, healers, influencers, and changemakers transform their stories into powerful, bestselling books. My work includes Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles’ I’m That Girl: Living the Power of My Dreams (Harper Influence) and Bonnie Wan’s The Life Brief: The Simple Tool to Unlock What You Really Want from Life (Simon Element)—both national bestsellers. My ghostwritten titles have been featured in Forbes, People, Fast Company, Vogue, and Harper’s BAZAAR.

With a career deeply rooted in storytelling, I bring both heart and strategy to every project—crafting page-turning prose with emotional resonance. Known for being an empathetic interviewer and deeply invested collaborator, I’m committed to helping authors find, shape, and elevate their voices.

I’m also a fiction author, represented by Transatlantic Literary Agency. When I’m not writing, you’ll find me speaking on industry panels or hosting my StoryHouse Writers’ Retreats—intimate, restorative gatherings for women writers across the country.

Working with Felice was a blessing I never expected. I initially hired her as an author coach to help me organize and complete my book draft but got so much more. I am in awe of how quickly she helped me turn my book from an idea to a body of work that will soon be read by others. I am immensely grateful to have found a partnership and friendship in Felice and would absolutely recommend her to other aspiring authors.
